Guide to the Submission of Your Manuscript I/III. Please kindly follow the instructions:

✅ Send us your work to: manuscript@dogmouth.es

✅ Within your email to us, please write a “Synopsis”, a “Biography”, and an “Author’s Reflections on my own work”, each of approximately 200 words per section

✅ Conditions:

1. File Format

  • Attention: we only accept complete manuscripts. Samples or opening chapters are not considered.

  • Editing format: we accept only PDF documents.

  • File name: use the following format: "Title -YourName.pdf "

  • Example: The Secret Garden - John Smith.pdf.

2. include in the email Subject line:

  • Title of the work.

  • Your full name.

  • Mobile telephone number (including COUNTRY PREFIX).

3. GENERAL RULES

✅ Submit your manuscript in plain format: no columns, colours, or ornate fonts.

✅Language accepted: Spanish only (including all Latin American variants). If your work employs a Latin American form of Spanish, kindly state this in your notes so that it may be judged accordingly.

✅ Spelling and grammar must be impeccable. Proof-read before submission and employ a spell-checker. Should you include errors deliberately (for stylistic or character purposes), please note this and indicate the relevant pages.

Registration and ISBN

✅ You may submit your manuscript whether registered or not. Prior registration (Intellectual Property Office, SafeCreative, ISBN, etc.) is optional and may provide reassurance.

✅ If you prefer, Dogmouth shall advise or undertake such formalities on your behalf, at the moment most fitting for your publishing strategy.

4. HOW TO SUBMIT

Send your manuscript to manuscript@dogmouth.es

Subject line: “[Title]. [Your Name]. [Your mobile number INCLUDING COUNTRY PREFIX]”.

In the body of the message, you may include any remarks or observations about yourself or your work which you deem appropriate, and which might provide additional insight for the presentation of your manuscript..

5. RESPONSE TIME

  • You will receive a reply from a literary agent within 72 hours..

  • After the initial contact, each manuscript is sent for reading to one of our pilot readers and, where appropriate, subsequently to our validation readers.

  • You shall always receive a clear and courteous response, never silence.

  • No fee is required at this stage or any other.

  • Do not delay your submission. Your work deserves to be read, not lost amidst a multitude. Dogmouth exists to ensure it receives the attention and opportunity it merits.
